We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at G&W Equipment, Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for traveling to customer facilities to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of powered material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues with forklifts, aerial lifts, and other equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on internal combustion and electric powered equipment
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communication while on-site
Requirements
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems and ability to evaluate and repair complex equipment
  • Previous experience working with forklifts, heavy equipment, tractors, or similar machinery
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to use a tablet and laptop for field diagnostics and internet research
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass pre-employment screenings
