Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in a reputable healthcare institution.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients, working closely with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to adapt to changing patient needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory therapy under medical direction, including intubation assistance and ventilator management.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, developing individualized care plans to meet patient needs.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care, including communication with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Document patient care and treatment plans accurately and thoroughly.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in respiratory care.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Respiratory Therapy.
  • Current and valid New Jersey Respiratory Care license and Registered Respiratory Therapist certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
