We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laboratory Supervisor to join our team at Alverno Laboratories. As a Laboratory Supervisor, you will be responsible for the front-line operations of testing in the laboratory, including troubleshooting instrument problems, ensuring regulatory compliance, and overseeing the quality control program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise front-line staff in troubleshooting instrument problems and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee the quality control program, proficiency testing, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure technical competency of staff supervised for testing, including corrective action if necessary.
  • Maintain a healing environment for employees and patients with a spirit of caring and concern.

Requirements:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in a lab science and graduate of an accredited medical lab technician or medical technologist program.
  • Meets the alternative education and experience set forth by the ASCP to become registry eligible for the MLT or MT category.
  • Training and relevant experience in high complexity testing of Immunology, Chemistry, Hematology, and Microbiology.
  • At least four (4) years of relevant experience in a high complexity laboratory setting.
