Job Title: Soap Formulation Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Soap Formulation Specialist to join our team at Voyant Beauty. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the correct soap formula is supplied to the production line in a timely manner. This is a critical role that requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

* Ensure correct soap formula is supplied to the production line in a timely manner
* Maintain a clean and organized work area
* Document batch records accurately to ensure the proper ingredients are included
* Ensure safety equipment and safety procedures are in place and followed
* Monitor and record temperature, moisture, and refining of soap in the finishing line
* Dispose of totes on production lines for recycling
* Regrind excess or scrap soap
* Clean and/or replace refining screens on a periodic basis
* Assist in line purges
* Responsible and accountable for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
* Assist in training new workers

Requirements:

* High School Diploma or GED
* At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
* Experience working with chemicals/raw materials preferred
