Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Coverage Nurse to join our team at one of our correctional facilities in Ohio. As a Medical Coverage Nurse, you will be responsible for providing quality patient care, conducting medical assessments, administering medications, and performing other related duties as needed.
Responsibilities
* Provide direct patient care to inmates in a correctional facility setting
* Conduct thorough medical assessments and create treatment plans as needed
* Administer medications and vaccinations as prescribed by medical staff
* Perform routine medical procedures such as blood draws and urinalysis
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements
* Must be a licensed LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) in the state of Ohio
* 2+ years of experience in a medical or correctional setting
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
