Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Technical Coordinators to support our datacenter migration and Business Continuity enhancement projects. The ideal candidates will excel in planning, tracking workstreams, and escalating risks, with a foundational understanding of technical concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage the migration of 200+ applications from one datacenter to another, including redesigning and rearchitecting applications to enhance Business Continuity.
  • Divide applications into workstreams, managing both complex and simple applications.
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure Architects and Application Leads/Architects to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Oversee 5 to 10 workstreams, ensuring consistent progress reporting, issue tracking, and next steps identification.
  • Maintain progress on approximately 15 to 20 workstreams simultaneously, with 30 to 40 applications in various stages of planning or migration.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in intro to mid-level project management, particularly in technical environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects or workstreams concurrently.
  • Experience with data center technologies (compute and virtualization, storage, networking) and experience managing small projects in this domain.
  • Familiarity with project tracking tools such as Excel, MS Project, and ServiceNow.
  • Ability to facilitate planning conversations and resolve issues within small teams.
  • Proficiency in standard administrative software, including project tracking and pivot tables in Excel.
  • Willingness to learn and use our Business Continuity tool, BCIC.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
