Job Overview

Position Summary

The individual will provide support to the U.S. Air Force and Navy as part of the Joint Range Technical Services Contract. Integrits Corporation is dedicated to developing and sustaining realistic, integrated testing and training environments, ensuring our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapon systems, and aircrews are prepared for current and future challenges. The Senior Systems Administrator plays a critical role in evaluating system specifications, installing enterprise-level computer systems, configuring systems, establishing standards, ensuring hardware/software compatibility, and maintaining both workstations and server systems with a focus on operating systems and network management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver daily operational support for Computer Operating Systems, encompassing system security, access management, configuration, and data backup/restoration.
  • Define network requirements, monitor LAN performance, troubleshoot networking hardware, and ensure systems operate according to established specifications.
  • Oversee the maintenance of computer networks and systems, including software, routers, switches, servers, and other hardware components.
  • Install and configure network equipment to resolve hardware or software issues.
  • Implement and uphold secure network access protocols.
  • Manage Firewall configurations, including ports, logs, rules, and software settings.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for problem reporting and provide operational status updates as necessary.
  • Recommend future hardware/software implementations and process improvements, while planning and executing system upgrades across various environments.
  • Utilize established policies and procedures, applying subject matter expertise to complete complex assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Analyze system logs to identify potential issues within computer systems.
  • Administer storage solutions, including NAS and SAN systems.
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment in representing and resolving significant matters on behalf of the organization.
  • Report to an exempt onsite manager overseeing IT Support Team operations.
  • Occasional lifting (up to 50 pounds) may be required, along with prolonged periods of sitting and computer terminal use, necessitating constant visual and auditory engagement.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution or equivalent experience through technical training or recognized certification programs.
  • A minimum of 9 years of experience in computer systems-related fields.
  • CompTIA Security + Certification.
  • SECRET Security Clearance is mandatory.
  • Broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures in computer science, graphics, and information systems.
  • Specific experience in maintaining Operating Systems and supporting applications in both centralized and distributed server environments.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within structured guidelines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Requires minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Must successfully pass the required drug test.

Desired Qualifications

  • Top Secret Security Clearance.
  • CCNA Certification.
