Overview:
As a Senior Infrastructure Systems Technician, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our engineering and design teams. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of intricate tasks related to the installation, upkeep, repair, troubleshooting, calibration, testing, fabrication, construction, and operation of various electronic and mechanical systems in alignment with engineering standards.


Key Responsibilities:
• Lead small teams in executing tasks, ensuring effective planning and oversight.
• Install new cabling systems, both underground and within buildings.
• Conduct maintenance on existing cabling, including diagnostic tests and repairs of faulty lines.
• Cut and splice Cat 5/6 copper and fiber optic cables.
• Identify and rectify issues in cabling systems as necessary.
• Install and maintain network, public address, telephone, access control, and security systems, addressing any operational challenges.


Administrative Duties:
• Establish and manage filing systems, databases, and logs for tracking project progress and inventory management.


Work Environment:
• Duties will be performed in both indoor and outdoor settings, which may include uneven surfaces and varying weather conditions.
• Climbing stairs, ladders, towers, and scaffolding is a requirement.
• Ability to work in a field environment with potential shift work is essential.
• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs; heavier items require assistance or mechanical aid.


Travel:
• Occasional travel to remote job sites may be necessary.


Qualifications:
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
• Must demonstrate the ability to lift heavy equipment and navigate confined spaces.
• General knowledge of electrical processes and familiarity with field tools and equipment is essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills are crucial for effective collaboration with teammates, clients, and external partners.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance is mandatory.
• A valid state driver's license is required.
