About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at East Ridge at Cutler Bay. As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a vital role in ensuring the nutritional needs of our residents are met, while also providing exceptional customer service and promoting a positive dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the dietary and health needs of residents and develop personalized meal plans
  • Implement and maintain written dietary service objectives and standards for the Health Center
  • Ensure menus and department policies conform to nutritional standards, government regulations, and internal procedures
  • Liaise with healthcare disciplines to ensure residents receive the appropriate diet and continuous quality dining experiences
  • Conduct bi-weekly inspections of the Food and Beverage Department to monitor compliance with Federal and State regulations
  • Monitor and ensure dietary needs of residents are being met
  • Oversee the Health Center Dining Room during meal times to ensure courteous and efficient service of high-quality nutritional meals
  • Assist in conducting staff education and provide on-the-job training
  • Complete the nutritional status portion of the computerized MDS according to the schedule established by the MDS Coordinator
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or related field
  • Current and active Registered Dietitian license in the State of Florida
  • Minimum of two years experience working as a Registered Dietitian in a healthcare setting, preferably in long-term care
