Job Title: Dietitian (PRN)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Dietitian to join our team at East Ridge Retirement Village. As a Dietitian, you will play a vital role in ensuring the nutritional needs of our residents are met, and our dining services are of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess the dietary and health needs of residents and develop personalized meal plans.
  • Implement and maintain written dietary service objectives and standards for the Health Center.
  • Ensure menus and department policies conform to nutritional standards, government regulations, and internal procedures.
  • Liaise with healthcare disciplines to ensure residents receive the appropriate diet and continuous quality dining experiences.
  • Conduct bi-weekly inspections of the Food and Beverage Department to monitor compliance with Federal and State regulations.
  • Monitor and ensure dietary needs of residents are being met.
  • Oversee the Health Center Dining Room during meal times to ensure courteous and efficient service of high-quality nutritional meals.
  • Assist in conducting staff education and provide on-the-job training to Food and Beverage Associates.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or related field.
  • Current and active Registered Dietitian license in the State of Florida.
  • Minimum of two years' experience working as a Registered Dietitian in a healthcare setting, preferably in long-term care.
