About the Respiratory Therapy Team:

The Respiratory Therapy team collaborates with healthcare professionals throughout the care continuum to offer high-quality therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care for patients with acute or chronic cardiopulmonary conditions.

Our certified respiratory therapists possess specialized knowledge in both cardiac and pulmonary nursing and medicine, assisting patients in enhancing lung function through tailored exercises, specific medications, and the utilization of oxygen equipment.

This skilled team integrates evidence-based practices and cutting-edge technologies to elevate the patient experience within our facilities.


Role of the Registered Respiratory Therapist II:

In the capacity of Registered Respiratory Therapist II, you will deliver professional and compassionate respiratory therapy services to patients and their families. This includes administering cardiorespiratory and related services while serving as a technical resource on all facets of respiratory care.

We seek individuals with excellent communication and patient care abilities, who can work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating a commitment to providing the highest quality healthcare to the people of Hawai'i.


Work Schedule:
Rotating - 12 Hours

Employment Type:
Full Time Regular

Minimum Qualifications:

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).

Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association.

Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification and a valid Hawai'i State Respiratory Therapist License.


Preferred Qualifications:
One (1) year of experience in respiratory care or a related field.
