Certification and Licensure Requirements

The State of Hawaii Respiratory Therapy License is required for this position. Additionally, BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications are necessary. RRT and NRP certifications are preferred.

Job Details

Candidates must have a Hawaii License by the start of the assignment. Proof of flu vaccination or a facility-approved application for a medical or religious exception will be required prior to the contract start date. Flu vaccination can be administered during the employee health clearance appointment.

General Job Duties
  • Provide continuous airway management.
  • Manage and support ventilator and non-invasive ventilator care.
  • Consult with physicians, perform CPR, and provide all aspects of respiratory care.
Requirements
  • Candidates must be able to care for patients in the adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience is required.
  • No first assignments are accepted.
Schedule Information

This is a night shift position, working from 1830 to 0700 am. The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts per week, totaling 36 hours. There is no guarantee of hours, and the contract is for 15 weeks.
