Ingredion Virtual Sales Team Internship

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Virtual Sales Team as a Technical Sales Representative Intern. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with our small and medium-sized customers, providing them with expert advice on ingredient recommendations for their food and beverage applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer relationships and develop new business opportunities
  • Work across our entire portfolio, including starches, plant-based proteins, sugar-reduction solutions, and hydrocolloids
  • Collaborate with our field sales, technical service, R&D, and customer service teams
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of our products and their applications
  • Provide excellent customer service and support

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Food Science, Food or Chemical Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week during the summer internship term
  • Reliable transportation to and from the facility
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
