Job SummaryAs an entry-level Plasma Center Technician at BioLife, you'll receive on-the-job training and contribute to the collection of high-quality plasma that becomes life-changing medicines.
Key Responsibilities- Screen new and repeat donors, taking and recording vital signs and finger stick results
- Answer phones, greet, and focus on our donors while ensuring their safety and our team's
- Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes through company-approved procedures
- Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays
- Learn to install, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot state-of-the-art plasmapheresis machines
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
- Prolonged glove wear due to potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens (risk level 1)
- Starting hourly wage reflecting state or local minimum wage requirements
- Short-term incentives for S. based employees
