Medical Screener Specialist

Job DescriptionAs a Plasma Center Technician, you will play a critical role in our mission. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and well-being of our donors, while also collecting high-quality plasma that will become life-changing medicines.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service to our donors, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the donation process.
- Screen new and repeat donors, taking and recording vital signs and finger stick results.
- Use our Donor Information System to prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes to center processes, as needed.
- Work collaboratively with your management team to ensure a clean and professional work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
- Experience working in food service, retail, hospital, lab, or a regulated environment.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced workplace.
We offer a competitive starting hourly wage of $16.00, with opportunities for short-term incentives and participation in our comprehensive benefits program, including medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and more.
As a valued member of our team, you will also receive up to 80 hours of sick time per calendar year and accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
