Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Eligibility Specialist to join our team at Equus Workforce Solutions. As an Eligibility Specialist, you will play a critical role in determining and verifying eligibility for our programs, ensuring that our clients receive the support they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine and verify eligibility for our programs, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client eligibility and appeals.
  • Conduct scheduled appeal hearings and provide clear and concise communication to clients.
  • Track attendance and services utilization, ensuring that our clients receive the support they need to achieve their goals.
  • Refers suspected fraud or misuse to the appropriate resource, ensuring the integrity of our programs.
  • Provides process informational support and instruction to clients as needed, ensuring that they have the knowledge and skills to succeed.
  • Serves on work groups and manages special projects and assignments, contributing to the success of our team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent work experience.
  • One to three years of experience in workforce development, with a strong understanding of eligibility and appeals processes.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work with clients from diverse backgrounds and with varying needs.
  • Ability to work independently, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software and ability to work in multiple programs and platforms.
