We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Development Coordinator to join our team at Gateway Area Development District. This role will play a vital part in supporting the planning and project development needs of our region.

About the Role

The Regional Development Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating project activities, managing schedules, and communicating with stakeholders and clients. This role also involves preparing grant applications, conducting public hearings, and maintaining project records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate project activities, manage schedules, and communicate with stakeholders and clients
  • Prepare grant applications, conduct public hearings, and maintain project records
  • Assist planners and clients with developing project scope of work and collecting project materials
  • Research potential funding sources, develop proposals, and compose funding applications
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as government, history, geography, or business administration. You should also have experience working with project management software, geographic information systems (GIS), and Trimble Geo7X/Trimble R2 GPS collection equipment.

A valid driver's license is required, and certification in CDBG Project Administration is preferred. We are looking for an individual who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
