Position Overview:

This role is crucial for ensuring the precise and timely closure of the monthly financial records, aiding in the preparation of annual reports and compliance documents, collaborating with various departments on budget oversight and expenditure management, and adhering to established audit protocols and controls.

Additionally, you will be responsible for generating financial reports and presenting analytical findings to support informed business decisions.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute journal entries, perform reconciliations, and create and disseminate reports to facilitate the monthly financial close.
  • Compile financial information, oversee filing obligations, and draft necessary documents for annual reports and compliance submissions.
  • Conduct financial analyses using various techniques, including variance and trend assessments.
  • Collaborate with departmental leaders on budgetary and expenditure oversight, ensuring accurate cost allocations and conducting expense evaluations.
  • Maintain compliance with audit standards through collaboration with auditors, adherence to control measures, and timely updates to documentation.
  • Engage in project teams and deliver presentations within the Finance Department.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of accounting experience or 6 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Familiarity with GAAP or STAT accounting standards.
  • Strong financial analytical skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Independent decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Organizational and analytical proficiency.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Mathematical proficiency.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Team collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in PC applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
