About the Role

As a key member of the Financial Benefits team at Transdev, you will report directly to the Retirement Plans Manager and be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administration of the company's retirement programs. Your primary focus will be to ensure compliance with plan documents, Federal laws, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Retirement Program Administration: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Retirement function, ensuring that processes are documented, up-to-date, and efficient.
  • Research and Response: Research and respond to questions from payroll, locations, and vendors.
  • Annual Plan Audits and Filings: Be the primary resource for annual plan audits and Form 5500 filings.
  • 401(k) Contributions: Review weekly 401(k) contributions.
  • Union Pension Contributions: Calculate and/or review union pension contributions.
  • Non-Qualified Plan Enrollment: Administer annual non-qualified plan enrollment.
  • Cost Analysis: Prepare cost analysis for labor negotiations and business contract bids.
  • Notice and Material Distribution: Ensure all required notices and materials are distributed to locations or employees in a timely manner.
  • Legislative Updates: Stay current on legislation impacting retirement plans and employee compensation.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Complete ad hoc analysis and tasks for retirement, compensation, employee engagement surveys, and employee data validations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS).
  • Analytic and Quantitative Skills: Strong analytic and quantitative skills.
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Collaboration and Communication: A collaborator with excellent communication skills.
  • Confidentiality and Discretion: Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion and judgment.
  • Adaptability and Pressure Management: Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Employee Benefits Experience: Employee benefits, Payroll, Compensation, and Retirement Benefits experience is a plus.
  • Travel Requirement: Travel requirement outside of immediate area (as a percent) < 10%.
