Job Summary

This is a part-time adjunct faculty position in the Department of Psychology at The Tennessee Board of Regents. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in psychology, including introductory psychology, abnormal psychology, and research methods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in psychology, including lectures, discussions, and laboratory sessions
  • Develop and implement course syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments
  • Provide feedback to students on their performance and progress
  • Grade student assignments and exams
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development
  • Utilize the College's learning management system to provide course materials and communicate with students
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Psychology or a related field
  • 18 graduate hours in Psychology
  • Experience teaching psychology courses
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Psychology or a related field
  • Experience teaching online courses
  • Knowledge of educational technology and instructional design
Compensation

The rate of pay for this position is $650.00 - $740.00 per credit hour.
