Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive component requirements documents, interface control documents, and validation & verification documentation to meet regulatory standards.
  • Ensure that components fulfill their intended functions effectively.
  • Oversee the quality of technical products from suppliers and their impact on project timelines.
  • Manage controls equipment testing procedures and analyze results.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in system, subsystem, or component design within relevant industries.
  • Proficient in interpreting drawings and schematics.
  • Familiarity with RTCA/DO-160 and MIL-STD-810 standards.
  • Experience in a structured regulatory environment with advanced quality systems such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or equivalent.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience or certification in Systems Engineering.
  • Project Management experience or certification.
  • Familiarity with IBM Rational DOORS.
  • Experience with Siemens Teamcenter.

Compensation and Benefits: Belcan offers a competitive salary range of $68,000 to $74,000, considering various factors such as education, experience, and geographic location. Benefits may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), education assistance, and paid time off.
