Job Description

Control Units Engineer

Location: Indianapolis, IN

We are seeking a talented and passionate engineer to join our Control Units team. As a Control Units Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing components for Rolls-Royce power and propulsion systems. You will work closely with a cross-functional team to develop technical requirements for suppliers, design components, and direct supplier activities and supply chain support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop components for Rolls-Royce power and propulsion systems
  • Develop technical requirements for suppliers
  • Direct supplier activities and supply chain support
  • Define component/engine interfaces
  • Develop test plans and test control units' hardware under engine conditions


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • Knowledge of fluid dynamics
  • Knowledge of writing and understanding technical requirements
  • Knowledge of engineering modeling, simulation, and analysis tools
  • Ability to solve problems efficiently and effectively
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to travel to worksites to perform responsibilities (minimal)
