Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse - Detox Specialist

Center Point - DAAC is seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our interdisciplinary team in providing comprehensive care to individuals struggling with substance use disorders and mental health issues.

Job Summary:

The LVN will work closely with our medical team to provide safe and effective detox-focused services, including the administration of medications as prescribed by our physicians. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care to clients in a substance abuse treatment setting, including medication administration and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and document client progress.
  • Respond to emergencies and initiate action as required.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records.
Requirements:
  • Current LVN licensure in the State of California.
  • One year of experience in a substance abuse treatment setting (preferred).
  • CPR certification.
