This role is crucial in overseeing our comprehensive energy projects from the design phase through to construction and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily construction operations, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, safety protocols, and quality assurance/quality control standards.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Energy Engineering team to facilitate the successful completion of various construction projects.
  • Assist in organizing, tracking, reviewing, and managing various engineering and construction documentation, including Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, shop drawings, and change orders.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including designers, construction managers, contractors, and clients, to communicate project progress and establish priorities.
  • Participate in construction progress meetings and conduct site visits.
  • Address on-site challenges and manage risks to prevent adverse effects on projects and client relationships.
  • Supervise and direct subcontractors effectively.
  • Support mechanical and electrical design professionals in their efforts.
  • Assist in project bidding processes and contractor evaluations.
  • This position requires availability Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work, and frequent travel to project sites.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 2 to 5+ years of experience in construction management.
  • FE/EIT certification or CCM certification is preferred.
  • OSHA 30-Hour certification is preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, with excellent analytical, multitasking, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proven ability to follow directions and work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Familiarity with computer-aided design software, with proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT preferred.
  • Experience with Construction Management software (e.g., Primavera, ProCore) is beneficial.
  • Reliable transportation to access job sites as needed, along with a valid driver's license in good standing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $120,000
