Job Title: RF Systems Engineer

Leidos Defense Sector is seeking a skilled RF Systems Engineer to join a talented team of engineers and scientists within the RF/EW Threat System Development Department.

The department's goals include developing radar threat system evaluations, models, HWIL test assets, and test range assets. The team performs radio frequency (RF) design, custom hardware builds, algorithm development, and analysis across a variety of both research and development and operational tasks.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, select, integrate, and test commercial off the shelf (COTS) parts for forming radar application test assets.
  • Support the full product life cycle from concept through prototype to production.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement RF systems solutions.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree from an ABET accredited institute in Electrical Engineering.
  • 0 years of experience.
  • Prior work with RF electronics.
  • Basic understanding of radar applications.
Desired Skills
  • Experience integrating RF systems.
  • Experience with testing, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining complex RF systems.
  • Experience developing test plans and use cases for test ranges.

Preference will be given to candidates who possess one or more of the following qualifications.

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess a Secret clearance.
