Job Summary

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department. This includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care plan for patients of all ages.

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
  • Supervise and educate nursing assistants and supportive staff members

Requirements

To be successful in this role, the Registered Nurse must have a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices. A current RN license and BLS certification are required. Experience in emergency nursing is preferred but not necessary.
