Position Overview

This role involves providing specialized nursing care focused on skin health and wound management for residents.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate skin care strategies for residents.
  • Diagnose and treat various skin conditions effectively.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations using observation and inspection methods.
  • Collaborate with the Care Planning Team to formulate and adjust Care Plans.
  • Administer and document treatments for skin conditions following established protocols.

Additionally, you will:

  • Monitor preventive care measures, including regular inspections and proper positioning of residents.
  • Adapt treatment plans to align with the individual needs of residents, adhering to medical standards and facility policies.
  • Educate residents and their families on prevention strategies and methods to enhance overall health and well-being.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing School with a current LPN license.
  • Experience in long-term care settings is preferred, along with supervisory skills.
  • Good standing with the State Department of Professional Credentialing.
  • Strong technical assessment, documentation, and leadership abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly in English.
