Water Resources Engineer/Civil

AECOM is seeking an experienced Water Resources Engineer/Civil Engineer to be located in Tucson, AZ.
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in culvert sizing, floodplain mapping, hydrology or hydrologic or hydraulic analysis for bridges, dams and ponds and familiarity with the following programs: HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS 1D/2D, AutoCAD Civil3D or ArcGIS.
The successful candidate will perform specific and moderate portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer, gather and correlate basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures, work on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests, propose an approach to solving new problems encountered using modifications of standard procedures or methods developed in previous assignments, identify discrepancies in results, guide entry-level engineers, perform work following agreed-upon budget and schedule with little supervision, and independently perform all the tasks necessary to complete the primary design elements for engineering works.
The minimum requirements for this position include a BA/BS + 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. A Professional Engineering (PE) license or the ability to obtain one within 2 years of employment is also preferred.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $73,000.00 - $125,000.00.
