Job Summary

TrekRecruit LLC is seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Tech to join our team. As a Diagnostic Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures following established standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Greet and explain procedures to patients ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Diagnostic Imaging: Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures following established standards.
  • Assistance: Assist radiologists with interventional procedures (e.g. paracentesis needle aspirations/biopsies).
  • Recordkeeping: Ensure accurate recordkeeping and assist with scheduling to maintain smooth patient flow.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain ultrasound equipment and supplies, organizing the work area for efficiency.
Requirements
  • Education: Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology or Ultrasonography required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Certifications: Must be certified in one of the following (within 10 days of hire): American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Sonography (S) or Vascular Sonography (VS), ARRT (R) with a KY License, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), Cardiovascular Credentialing International Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS), Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS), Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS).
  • Skills: Strong critical thinking and decisive judgment abilities, ability to work independently and perform well under stress.
