Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Wellstar Health System, Inc. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain complete clinical history, gather examination data, and assess for contraindicating conditions.
  • Follow established procedures for the administration of contrast media to ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Ensure that all studies have proper patient identification, right and left markers are utilized appropriately, and radiographic images are reviewed for clinically acceptable results.
  • Restock linens and supplies, maintain a clean and orderly environment, and transport patients as needed.
  • Perform patient charging activities, apply shielding, supportive, and immobilization devices, and equipment.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT Radiography certification and Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor certification.
  • Less than 1 year of entry-level experience up to 5 years of experience within the past seven years.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to function independently, and work effectively in a team environment.
