Job Summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is seeking an Automation Specialist to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety in manufacturing operations through the strategic deployment of industry 4.0 tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Manufacturing Engineering efforts to improve operational technology systems by identifying and resolving production and quality issues using automation.
  • Manage budget, timelines, and objectives for industry 4.0 projects, including automation, Digital core, IIoT, additive manufacturing, and systems integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute projects, including plant leadership, Information Technology, Operational Excellence, Production, Quality, Facilities, and Engineering.
  • Develop knowledge and expertise in industry 4.0 tools and technologies to be a subject matter expert.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum three (3) years of technical experience.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% annually.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or related) preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with Power Management, Power Control, Mission Critical, or related systems.
  • Knowledge of additive manufacturing 3D printing/prototyping.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of Project Management Tools.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with 3D modeling.
  • Experience with scripting in Python or similar languages.
