Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned dispatcher to join our team at Great Lakes Petroleum. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fuel delivery services.

**Estimated Salary:** $80,000 - $100,000 per year

You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our fuel truck drivers, including coordinating schedules, routes, and deliveries. Your exceptional communication and organizational skills will enable you to build strong relationships with our drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily activities of fuel truck drivers to ensure timely and safe delivery of fuel
  • Coordinate with drivers to address any issues or concerns that may arise during delivery
  • Manage transportation logistics to minimize downtime and optimize route planning
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics, such as on-time delivery rates and driver productivity
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in fuel dispatch or a related field
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
