Job Title: Logistics Operations Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Coordinator to join our team in Charlotte. This is a full-time position with regular working hours from 8:00-5:00, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:
  • Order Administration and 3PL Distribution: Coordinate order processing, scheduling, expediting, customer returns, transportation, storage, and shipping of customer orders.
  • Inbound/Outbound Shipments: Coordinate shipments via Ocean, Air, and Ground.
  • Customer Service: Communicate, implement, and interpret customer service policies and procedures, interacting with Marketing, Finance, Credit, Planning, and Distribution teams.
  • Performance Metrics: Measure and report performance of orders to achieve AOP goals.
  • Inventory and Production Scheduling: Coordinate adjustments to inventory and production schedules as required.
  • Transportation Contracts: Assist in negotiating and maintaining transportation contracts and tariffs.
  • Customer Order Patterns: Analyze customer order patterns and recommend changes to improve costs and customer penalties.
  • EDI Setups: Act as an interface between customers and IT staff to ensure EDI set-ups when required.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; three to five years related experience and/or training.
  2. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  3. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, SAP (S&D Module) order processing systems, My Eureka, and/or Microsoft Query database software.
  4. Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff.
