Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Coordinator to join our team at Allied Resources Technical Consultants. As a Materials Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials across our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Material Requirements Planning: Coordinate material requirements for Transmission, Substation, and Distribution operations, ensuring timely delivery to field locations.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Monitor and improve the efficiency of the material supply process, directing material demand and optimizing material flow from central distribution, laydown yards, and local service centers.
  • Supplier Management: Negotiate with suppliers to expedite deliveries based on project schedules, evaluate alternate suppliers, and make award decisions if original sources cannot meet deadlines.
  • Forecasting and Planning: Forecast material demand and plan for seasonal usage, ensuring adequate inventory levels and minimizing stockouts.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate material delivery with Logistics Services and perform goods receipts for purchase orders.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain professional, ethical relationships with suppliers, adhering to company standards of Conduct and Supply Chain Policies.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related fields.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in materials requirements planning, procurement, manufacturing, scheduling, and/or related disciplines.
  • Skills: Experience using ERP, procurement, or work management systems, demonstrated analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel, including the ability to create v-lookups and pivot tables.
