Semper Valens Solutions is seeking a talented Telecommunications/Electronics Technician to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing telecommunications topologies, directing and leading development of engineering installation packages and project drawings, and developing equipment and system test plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site surveys and assessments in accordance with requirements for LAN/WLAN upgrades.
  • Perform pre-survey tasks, including participating in Same Page pre-deployment meetings and ensuring personnel have necessary documentation.
  • Submit Daily Site Survey Reports and complete Outbuildings Connectivity Spider Diagram Drawings.
  • Survey WLAN devices, infrastructure, and RF signatures using AirMagnet Survey Pro and predictive heat mapping.
  • Test fiber/copper cables during surveys and utilize fiber cleaning pens as needed.
  • Collect, verify, and organize network configurations for LAN and WLAN.
  • Physically inspect proposed cable pathways and document type of penetration required and wall/ceiling/floor composition.
