Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Case Manager to join our Behavioral Health team at Prisma Health. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that patients receive the highest quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of clinical information to communicate with and obtain authorization from third-party payers.
  • Record authorization numbers and other utilization review data into our electronic medical record system.
  • Obtain benefit profiles for patients, including active plan coverage and deductibles.
  • Generate appeals for denied authorizations and coverage.
  • Maintain a log of current in-network payers to inform decision-making for admissions and discharges.
  • Provide additional clinical and administrative support to the department as needed.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in social work or counseling.
  • 2 years of professional experience in a behavioral health setting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
