Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Case Manager to join our Behavioral Health team at Prisma Health. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that patients receive the highest quality care and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of clinical information to communicate with and obtain authorization from third-party payers.
- Record authorization numbers and other utilization review data into our electronic medical record system.
- Obtain benefit profiles for patients, including active plan coverage and deductibles.
- Generate appeals for denied authorizations and coverage.
- Maintain a log of current in-network payers to inform decision-making for admissions and discharges.
- Provide additional clinical and administrative support to the department as needed.
Requirements
- Master's degree in social work or counseling.
- 2 years of professional experience in a behavioral health setting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
