Job Opportunity

Simpson University, a Christian institution of higher learning, is seeking a qualified adjunct instructor to teach chemistry courses for the academic year. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the education of pre-nursing, biology, kinesiology, and engineering students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality instruction in introductory or general chemistry lecture and/or lab courses.
  • Utilize Canvas for course management and delivery of content.
  • Work effectively with a diverse student body population.
  • Express a vibrant Christian faith and demonstrate Simpson University values.

Requirements:

  • M.S. in Chemistry or a related field.
  • Ability to teach in-person at the Redding campus.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Commitment to Christian community and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
