Chemistry Instructor Position at Simpson University

Simpson University, a Christian university in Redding, California, is seeking a qualified adjunct instructor to teach chemistry courses for the academic year. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field and experience in teaching introductory or general chemistry lecture and/or lab courses.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach chemistry courses in-person at the Redding campus
  • Utilize Canvas for course management and delivery of content
  • Work with a diverse student body population
  • Express a vibrant Christian faith and commitment to Christian community
  • Affirm the statement of faith of the Christian and Missionary Alliance
Requirements:
  • M.S. in Chemistry or related field
  • Experience in teaching chemistry courses
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a Christian environment
