Job Summary

Pacific Educational Services, Inc. is seeking a qualified Substance Use Disorders Counselor to join our team in Orange County. As a key member of our Outpatient Treatment Program, you will provide professional and administrative services to support individuals struggling with substance use disorders.

We are looking for a certified or registered chemical dependency counselor with knowledge of substance use disorders, addiction, and treatment. Experience working with drug Medi-Cal regulations, an offender population, and/or bilingual Spanish is preferred. In lieu of certification, MFT-Associates or MSW Interns are encouraged to apply, with clinical supervision provided for licensure hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, group counseling, and case management interventions to support clients with substance use disorders.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address the unique needs of each client.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Conduct assessments, admissions, and discharge planning to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Participate in program development, implementation, and evaluation to ensure high-quality services.

Requirements:

  • Certification or registration as a chemical dependency counselor.
  • Knowledge of substance use disorders, addiction, and treatment.
