About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team of engineers in a manufacturing operation. The successful candidate will work on designing and developing innovative product solutions for customers in the automotive, truck, bus, and industrial markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop designs in accordance with customer specifications
  • Complete Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R) and Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) plans to support design intent
  • Support project teams by adhering to New Product Introduction/TS processes and methods
  • Collaborate with project engineers to develop effective design plans for new control module products
  • Lead cost and design improvement projects to contribute to engineering productivity goals
  • Manage assigned projects based on cost and timeline requirements
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to complete projects within schedule and budget
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Plastic Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Mechanical Engineering
  • 3-5 years of experience in plastic part design or automotive design
  • Proficiency in MS Office and 3D modeling software (NX/Unigraphics preferred)
Estimated Salary Range

$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience
