Job Title: Principal EWIS Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal EWIS Engineer to join our team at Executive Recruiting Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced electrical hardware and wiring systems for our e-VTOL program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement electrical hardware and wiring systems, including connector and cable design, wiring routing, and support zonal analysis.
  • Design and develop advanced new electric hardware technology applications for our e-VTOL program, minimizing the risk of wire damage.
  • Create and validate design guidance and methodology for aircraft-level EWIs and EMI protection standards for wire/cable installation and structure/system designs.
  • Develop and execute aircraft-level validation and verification activities.
  • Responsible for systems requirements and certification reports, including System Description reports, Harness Installation Inspection reports, and EMI test reports.
  • Collaborate with Certification Authorities to discuss certification approaches and Means of Compliance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering; Master's degree in a technical and/or management specialty related to EWIS and E3 is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in EWIS development, design, and testing in Military, Commercial, or business aircraft development programs.
  • 10+ years of experience in electrical hardware, cables, and wiring, and managing system suppliers as the technical point of contact.
  • 10+ years of experience in E3 development, design, and testing in Military, Commercial, or business aircraft development programs.
  • 10+ years of experience in system integration considering interoperability, electromagnetic interference, high-intensity radiated field, lightning, and associated technologies, and managing system suppliers as the technical point of contact.
