Job Overview
The Engineering Project Manager at GE Aerospace plays a crucial role within a highly esteemed team dedicated to developing reliable Electrical and Mechanical products tailored for the Aerospace sector.

Key Responsibilities
As a member of the Integrated Product Team, you will oversee project execution from the design stage through to qualification and transition to production. Your leadership will be pivotal in ensuring project success by adhering to the GE Aerospace tollgate process.

Primary Duties Include:

  • Developing and managing engineering and technology projects.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal resource allocation.
  • Delivering project scope within the original budget estimates.
  • Managing schedules, budgets, and integration of New Product Introduction (NPI) and requisition projects, ensuring alignment with customer Critical to Quality (CTQ) requirements and program milestones.
  • Working alongside domestic and global integrated product teams to achieve program objectives.
  • Communicating with customers' technical and project teams to provide updates on program status, risks, and technical deliverables.
  • Utilizing your extensive technical knowledge and analytical skills to implement policies and strategies effectively.
  • Contributing actively to Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Mentoring less experienced colleagues and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in engineering and/or project management.
  • This position is restricted to U.S. persons due to access to export-controlled technology.

  • Established project management expertise.
  • PMP Certification or equivalent industry experience.

  • Understanding of Aerospace NPI, B&P, and NTI processes.

Compensation and Benefits:
The base pay range for this position is competitive and influenced by various factors, including experience and skills. This role also includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
