Job Overview: We're seeking an exceptional Senior Equipment Manager to lead our team in designing, building, and deploying custom automated equipment and solutions. As a key member of our cross-functional project team, you'll report directly to the Machine Build Manager.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure project requirements, schedules, and customer needs are met.
  2. Manage resources and oversee overall workload and tasks to drive efficiency and productivity.
  3. Oversee the release of prints according to scheduled timelines and sequences of purchased and fabricated parts.
  4. Cross-functionally collaborate with all departments during project phases, including de-bug and runoff.
  5. Identify and implement best practices and cost-saving opportunities within the build team.
  6. Maintain schedule and hours budget alignment, monitoring project status regularly.
  7. Coordinate with other leads to optimize resource capacity scheduling.
  8. Participate in engineering concepting, design, and print reviews to ensure seamless execution.
  9. Lead task management of the team, providing clear direction and ensuring accountability.
  10. Promote high performance among team members and support company initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent certification required.
  • Related vocational education preferred but not essential.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in leading and coordinating automated equipment assembly, de-bug, and installation.

Skills Required:

  • Ability to train and mentor team members effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude and commitment to safety and quality.
  • Proven ability to accept and provide direction, set expectations, and hold team members accountable.

Salary Information: $100,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
