We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior BIOS Engineer to lead the design and development of server BIOS solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing BIOS code using various technologies and methodologies, ensuring high-quality software delivery, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Develop Server BIOS: Utilize programming languages, compilers, assemblers, debuggers, and other tools to design and develop server BIOS solutions.
  • Implement Software Engineering Methodologies: Apply state-of-the-art software engineering methodologies to ensure code quality, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Project Management: Proactively manage project schedules, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery.
  • Collaboration and Integration: Work closely with the Aivres design team to integrate BIOS functionality and ensure seamless system operation.
  • Customization and Modification: Modify and customize BIOS based on specific customer needs, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
  • Customer Communication: Effectively communicate with customers to understand their requirements and address any BIOS-related issues.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough BIOS testing to guarantee functionality, performance, and reliability.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in low-layer software development and minimum of 5 years of experience with either Legacy BIOS code or UEFI code.
  • Technical Skills: Strong background in software design using C, C++, and/or Assembly language, solid understanding of server hardware architecture, BIOS, and Linux operating systems.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to work independently, take initiative, and demonstrate excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Language: Fluency in both English and Chinese is highly preferred.
