Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement engineering solutions to assess and evaluate systems, equipment, and devices in alignment with established engineering principles and specifications.
  • Create and execute test plans, schedules, and requirements for both new and existing designs; lead efforts for both outsourced and in-house testing resources, including the development of test tooling, fixtures, scripts, automation, and apparatuses.
  • Engage and communicate with management, internal teams, and external testing and development partners regarding testing progress, project updates, test outcomes, and resolution of issues.
  • Lead a project team of test engineers and external testing partners to devise and execute reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality testing solutions for moderately complex products.
  • Act as the representative for the test engineering team throughout all phases of larger and more complex development initiatives.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff members in software best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Willingness to obtain a security clearance if required.

  • Proficient in Python, Bash, and script writing for automating testing processes and specific tasks.
  • Possess a mentoring mindset to assist team members in developing efficient software solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery of English, with the ability to effectively convey testing plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at management levels.
