Your expertise will help patients achieve optimal health outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assess patient nutritional status and identify risk factors through patient and provider interactions.
- Develop and communicate tailored dietary recommendations to achieve desired outcomes.
- Provide timely and relevant consultation to healthcare teams.
- Counsel patients on nutritional principles, dietary plans, and lifestyle modifications.
- Evaluate patient compliance with dietary interventions and provide coaching to improve lifestyle behaviors.
- Coordinate nutritional case management activities with healthcare team members.
- Baccalaureate degree and completion of a dietetic education program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
- Registered Dietitian by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and a current Dietitian License with the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision.
- Minimum 6 months of related experience, preferred.
You will work directly with patients and healthcare professionals, as well as collaborate with internal and external customers via telephone or face-to-face interactions.
Special Job DimensionsThis role is a safety-sensitive position under the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Use and Patient Protection Act (OMMA).
