Job Summary

The Division of Hematology, Medical Oncology and Palliative Care at the University of Wisconsin-Madison seeks a highly skilled GI Medical Oncologist to join our faculty. This position will focus on clinical or translational research in gastrointestinal malignancies, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative treatments and improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct patient care, including ambulatory, inpatient, and consult services
  • Develop and lead research programs, securing independent extramural funding
  • Teach medical students, residents, and fellows within the context of clinical practice
  • Support diversity initiatives in clinical trial participants

The Division of Hematology, Medical Oncology and Palliative Care is part of the Department of Medicine and the NCI-designated UW Carbone Comprehensive Cancer Center. Requirements
  • Terminal degree (MD, DO, or equivalent)
  • Completion of an accredited fellowship training program in Hematology/Medical Oncology
  • Clinical and research interest in gastrointestinal malignancies
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology
