Clinical Thoracic Oncologist

The University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center seeks a highly skilled Head and Neck Oncologist/Thoracic Oncologist to join our faculty. This is an opportunity for a clinician with a cancer research focus to contribute to our team's mission to advance cancer care and research.
The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team and will have the opportunity to participate in cutting-edge research programs, including those focused on genomics, precision medicine, and cancer therapeutics. The candidate will also have access to shared resources and opportunities to collaborate with basic, translational, and clinical researchers at the NCI-designated UW Carbone Cancer Center.

Responsibilities- Provide inpatient and outpatient clinic attending services at UW Hospitals and Clinics locations in Madison and at additional sites within the region.
- Participate in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of research programs, including those focused on genomics, precision medicine, and cancer therapeutics.
- Collaborate with basic, translational, and clinical researchers at the NCI-designated UW Carbone Cancer Center.
- Completed accredited oncology fellowship training.
- Experience in clinical, basic science, or translational research, with a track record of successful publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine and BE/BC in Medical Oncology or Hematology Oncology by start date.
