Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Healthcare Database Management Specialist to join our team at MedPOINT Management. This is a hybrid position, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance.

About the Role

This role will report to the Provider Network Operations (PNO) Database Management Supervisor and will be responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient provider profile creation in all Client IPA databases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create provider profiles in Client databases
  • Evaluate and ensure valid documentation from CPPA, CAQH, Client Liaison or PNO Contract Team before creating provider profiles
  • Follow up with providers to gather onboarding required documents
  • Respond to requests from provider offices and internal MPM teammates while providing clear communication
  • Collaborate with Credentialing, PNO Contract, and Network Management teams to optimize provider onboarding processes
  • Track daily activities through workflow queues to meet productivity and timeliness standards
  • Maintain accurate Client databases through regular review and audits
  • Communicate effectively with Leadership on network changes or issues
  • Provide exceptional customer service to IPA clients and contracted providers
  • Assist in projects such as data cleanup, workflow revisions, database maintenance, and other assignments
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree in healthcare, human services, or related field preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in Managed Care or Healthcare in Network Management; EZ-CAP knowledge and experience a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

The estimated salary for this role is $55,000 - 65,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
