Senior Clinical Laboratory Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join our team at Rochester Regional Health. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing complex laboratory tests and procedures, interpreting results, and providing technical guidance to colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform specialized diagnostic procedures, including blood banking, coagulation, and molecular diagnostics
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of laboratory results and patient information
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable test results
  • Train and mentor junior laboratory staff members
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest laboratory technologies and techniques
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field
  • Current New York State Department of Education License or Limited Permit as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
